Lashanda's Story
My nickname in school was "CHICKEN". But, I dare to go by that name ever again. (Only for Reunion night! ONLY! So take advantage.) I was very thin (skinny, as some would put it.) in school with tom-boyish ways, braces and braids. My sister kept my hair up well. (You know!!) I was always considered the "homegirl" in school from the boys. I knew more about you girls than you could ever believe. So trying to grow up too fast before my time was not an option for me. at times, very observing, cool person, rough around the edges, always late would be me. My sister is LaJava from the 1987 class, and my best friends from school were Charron Crooms and Donna Moreland. I wasn't a bad student, yet I wasn't the most studious either. My favorite teacher was Mr. Hamdan(Algebra) I did not know what the hell I was doing in Modern dance and took it for five years. Don't ask! We all know Cynthia Evans stole the show on that one.
